Well, I think that says it all, don’t you, folks? It’s my 13th birthday, and in spite of some health issues, this beagle is still going strong! I wanted to do something special for my birthday, and that’s to share a few of my favorite things by holding a giveaway for one of our lucky and loyal readers! Nope, Momz and Dadz did not buy me anything for my birthday. I don’t need anything, really. I have about a bazillion balls, a perfect harness and leash, more beds than I can sleep on in one day, toys that I don’t even play with, and endless treats. I even have new fresh food added to my kibble at every meal now! The Momz will be making me special treats this weekend (cookies and ice cream!), and that will make me as happy as ever (I’ll even share with my bratty brother Luke). Please enter our giveaway through the widget at the end of this post – it’s open to everyone! It’s not a huge one, this one is all on us, no sponsors. But we’re happy to share these products that we love:
- My favorite balls are from West Paw Design, and I especially love the new Boz Zogoflex air. It’s soft and squishy on my older teeth, bounces, and comes in pretty colors!
- A Nifti SafeLatch Pet Safety Leash, pretty in pink! We love this leash because Momz can hook up my wiggling body more easily with the magnetic clasp. If you’re not familiar with it, you can read our full review here: Nifti SafeLatch.
- Sojo’s Grain and Gluten Free Treats. To be honest, these aren’t really my favorite treats…..because I don’t have favorites, I love them all! But Momz chose these because the’re 100% natural, non-GMO, and made from scratch in Minnesota. We’ll give our winner a choice of flavors.
Good luck to everyone, and I love you all!
A note from the Momz:
This is a big birthday for our little beagle Cricket! We’ve been a bit worried about her lately with her cough and enlarged heart. We’re still hearing that cough, and her energy level is lower than usual, but she has her spurts. She’s sometimes playing ball for short times, and is enjoying our cooler evenings patrolling her yard with her nose to the ground. All of the photos in the collage above were taken this week! So we continue to feel optimistic that she will keep improving. The Dadz and I want to say a huge
to our sweet girl with lots of hugs and kisses. She brings so much joy to our lives with her happy demeanor and loving nature (other than when she’s snarking at her brother!). She is a little dog with a big attitude, and nothing stops her when her determination kicks in! We love you so much, Cricket, and hope you will have many more birthdays to celebrate with us in the future. ♥♥
