As anyone with a long coated breed of dog may know, the fur between the toes of a golden retriever can get very out of control…sticking out in all kinds of silly directions like feathers.
That’s why I love to trim Sheba’s paws. I trim the fur out as best I can and then trim her nails at the same time. I just love to see the results! They do a little better job at the groomers than I do but most of the time I do it myself.
Not only do her paws look pretty, but in the winter it helps to keep snowballs from forming in between her toes, and in the spring and summer less dirt and mud gets tracked into the house.
Then there’s always the pretty in purple look too, which really protects her paws! She wears her Pawz when we walk on winter roads covered with ice, snow, and road salt and dirt. I will also put them on when she’s playing in fresh snow in the yard, because even when they’re trimmed she can still get snowballs in there.
Whatever the look, Sheba always looks pretty!
