In this post in the series, I’ll be sharing some photos of some of the flowers/bushes around our yard. Your job will be to guess what they are, and whether they are toxic or non-toxic to dogs. There will be 10 photos; one point scored for guessing the name of the flower correct, and one point for toxic or non-toxic (you have a 50-50 shot there).
The person who scores the most points will win this garden flag, along with some treats for their pet or pets (if there’s a tie we’ll do a random draw amongst those that are tied): *This contest is now closed, but please feel free to take the quiz for fun, then visit Part 3 to see if you got the answers correct!*
I tried to do a mix of easier and tougher ones (which might be all relative depending on how much gardening you do). You might find a hint in the photo (or it may be a red herring, watch out!), and you also might find clues in Part 1 of our series: The Challenges of Gardening with Dogs – Are Your Plants Safe? – Part 1.
Leave your answers in the comments section at the end of the post. This contest is open to everyone everywhere, void where prohibited by law, and I just want you to have fun with it. I’ll leave it open for one week (ends Friday July 8th at 11:59 pm EST), and soon after that I will reveal the winner and the answers to the quiz along with a little more information about some of the flowers. Who knows, maybe you’ll find a flower you like that is safe for your dogs, and decide to plant some! 🙂 Here we go!
