I don’t know about your pet family, but I have a pretty big collection of pet brushes (I counted over 10). I’m always on the lookout for the perfect one, and with having both short and long-haired pets, I usually need some different types. Along with that, I have about five different tools for cleaning fur off furniture and clothes, and I even have a tool for pet massage (that no one ever really liked). Nothing ever works quite as well as I want it to.

Furbliss™ – A Pet Brush and more!
When offered the chance to try the new multi-function Furbliss silicone brush, of course I wanted to; especially since it does all of things I listed above – brushes, massages, and removes lint and fur from furniture and clothing!
The Furbliss brush was designed and developed in Switzerland, and is made in the USA with 100% medical grade silicone. There is no sharp metal and it provides a relaxing and comforting massage as you brush your pet. Daily brushing can keep your pet’s coat clean and shiny, and it also stimulates their circulation, joints, and muscles.
“The no fuss brush™”
Furbliss is easy to clean, you can rinse it under warm water or even put it in your washing machine or dishwasher! I had one brush I was using on Cricket last summer and it got quite dirty. I wanted to wash it and soaked it in the sink. Because it was metal, it ended up rusting! That is definitely not acceptable to me, I like to keep our brushes clean. While the silicone of this brush attracts the fur, it also removes easily as you go along.
This brush can be used wet or dry. There are two sides to it. One side can be used to gently brush and massage your pet daily. It helps with deshedding and cleans the skin and coat by gently removing dirt and dander. The other side can also be used for deshedding, massaging, and even bathing (it holds 2 ounces of shampoo). That side is also for removing fur and lint from furniture, clothing, and auto interiors.
Most importantly, what did our canine and feline crew think? They really seemed to enjoy the gentle brushing and massaging. Luke does not care for a lot of handling and touching with any kind of tool, but he seemed to relax and enjoy it.
Samantha stayed a little more still than she usually does for brushing….
…..and Cricket just wanted to kiss me, instead of trying to squirm away like she usually does.
I think it’s a very nice way to bond with your pet and can be relaxing for both of you. I am apt to brush them more often when I know they’re enjoying it, so I can too.
Furbliss comes in four different colors – one for each type of pet:
- Blue is for short-haired cats and small breed dogs.
- Green is for long-haired cats and small breed dogs.
- Yellow is for short-haired medium and large breed dogs.
- Red is for long-haired medium and large breed dogs.
Now we can cover all our needs with just three brushes that are easy to store and clean!
