I choose leather interior in my vehicles whenever I can. I like the looks of it, leather is the only thing for me that stays easy to clean, and the dog fur doesn’t stick to it so much. There’s one problem though; they don’t put leather on the floors or even on the back of the back seats in my favorite vehicle. There is always carpet to be found for that fur to stick to!

We’ve tried some different cargo and seat covers in our vehicles, and they’ve all worked fine. But there is one thing they are missing that I enjoy: style. I like things to look pretty! That’s where Molly Mutt has me and my dogs covered.
Their new car seat cover not only protects your seats, but looks nice while doing it! Whatever your dog’s riding style is….free style or secured, this multi-purpose seat cover fits all vehicles with headrests so will work for you too. It can be installed as a car seat cover, a hammock, or a cargo cover!
There are other convenient features as well:
- It’s made from durable, washable material that is anti-slip on the back.
- There are seat anchors to keep it secure when using as a seat cover.
- The straps for securing it over your head rests are easily adjustable.
- It has slots for the seat belts.
To be honest, I let my dogs ride “free style” on shorter trips. On longer trips we like to keep them more secure. It was easy to use Cricket’s car seat and Luke’s car harness while using our Molly Mutt car seat cover as a regular cover or even a hammock for extra security.
They’re happier when they get the run of the whole back cargo area, and while this cover doesn’t cover the area in the back of my SUV completely, it covers most of it and especially the important carpeted areas.
We love Molly Mutt’s stylish patterns, and we have two different ones on their beds in our house. For our car cover, I wanted something different again. It was a tough choice out of the 8 patterns available, but we chose the “lion’s roar” and love it! Someone else wanted to check it out too:
